About SHE-com

  • SHE-com is an Australian based community (Headquartered on the Gold Coast) created for and by women in e-commerce. We offer coaching programs, events, conferences and retreats.

  • SHE-com Founder and multiple million dollar brand owner, Lisa Jones created SHE-com because she noticed the explosion of female run e-comm businesses across Australia, recognising the enormous potential and how these women were being underserved. 

  • We provide our community of start-ups, scale-ups and multi-million dollar business owners with support, mentoring, training, awards, live events, networking and curation of the best tools in the industry – so they can focus on growing their business.

About The Role:

Virtual CFO / Bookkeeper

SHE-com is looking for a virtual CFO / bookkeeper to work part-time (approx 5 hours per week) inside our fast growing, female-only e-commerce coaching business, SHE-com.

Inside SHE-com we run courses and programs, retreats, live conferences and events, and we also have a large community of women we support through free education. 

This role reports to our founder and is located at the heart of our team.

The role will require you to:

  • Generate invoices and manage both accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Pay bills weekly, check expenses and provide strategies to minimise these
  • Process staff pays and leave 
  • Keep all accounts up to date (and looking good!)
  • Budget, forecast and and report daily on numbers inside the business
  • Pinpoint problem spending 
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Prepare accounts to BAS stage (our accountant prepares the BAS for ATO)

You will have:

  • Extensive previous experience in an accounts role
  • Experience using Xero
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Experience using WooCommerce and ThriveCart (not essential but desirable)
  • Certificate IV in accounting/bookkeeping (not essential but desirable)

We envisage this role will require approximately 5 hours per week, but is nevertheless an extremely important part of our team.

We financially remunerate our team according to their experience and increase wages as our business grows.
